Since your premises are connected to the sewerage network, you pay sewerage charges based on your water consumption and the unit fees (per cubic meter) specified from time to time by the Larnaka Sewerage and Drainage Board. The sewerage fees are collected by the Water Board of Larnaka and then paid to the Larnaka Sewerage and Drainage Board. The sewerage fees you pay to the Larnaka Sewerage and Drainage Board every 6 months are calculated based on the value of your property.

Further to the recent amendment of article 33 of the Sewerage Systems Law, the owners of properties who fail to connect their premises with the public sewer, six months after the expiry of the relevant notification of the Sewerage and Drainage Board (LSDB), are subject to a charge, which should not exceed the sewerage system usage charge levied on premises connected.  Currently this charge is set at €0,50 per cubic meter of water consumed.
